This website

No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party scripts or fonts. Every file on this page is served from cachetrail.app. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver and protect it, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

The app

• Scans read folder names and sizes. They never read file contents.
• Scan history and the cleanup journal are stored on your Mac and never uploaded.
• No account and no telemetry.
• Reports you export leave out full paths and your username unless you choose otherwise.

What will connect to the internet

In the released app, a license check contacts the payment provider, and update checks fetch release information from cachetrail.app. Neither sends scan data or file paths. The provider and its terms will be named here before launch.
